Acrylic on Canvas · E. Erskine · 2003
This acrylic painting on canvas, features a central, two-tiered cascading waterfall framed by large smooth brown boulders, emptying into a calm turquoise river in the foreground. On the left side, a dense patch of tall wild sugarcane-like reeds or wild grasses with light-colored plumes grows right next to the rocky banks. The entire scene opens up to a background of rolling green mountains under a blue sky filled with puffy white clouds, accented by clusters of trees and a distant ridge pathway slicing through the hills.
