Alegna FineArts Studio offers small art class sizes for children and youth to ensure a personalized experience, making each session unique. We at Alegna FineArts Studio believe that “Anyone can learn to draw and paint.
Whether you want to become a professional artist or not, our art classes provide comprehensive guidance. At Alegna FineArts Studio each class emphasizes the fundamentals of fine arts including the elements & principles of art and design, perspective, anatomy, form and structure, lighting and shadow, color theory, and composition.
You will learn how to draw with graphite pencils, pastel, charcoal, pens as well as learn how to paint with watercolor, acrylic! You will also learn how to create clay pots using clay.

Alegna FineArts Studio workshop events are usually 2 to 3 days of drawing, painting, and or pottery making. We focus on expressive brushstroke, strong composition, and colour. Throughout the workshop, individuals will get to strengthen their understanding of bold, expressive brushstrokes, tone and values, colour harmony, and theory. We work primarily with a limited palette, helping individuals to develop stronger and more unified paintings while still encouraging creativity and artistic voice.
During the workshop, our painting sessions will spark work one-on-one with each participant, meeting their current level, and help guide their artistic journey.
Some painting experiences are recommended; beginners and first-time painters are welcome to join.
Students are responsible for bringing their own supplies or purchasing an art kit from the Alegna FineArts Studio art shop.
