Acrylic on Canvas · E. Erskine · 2026
This acrylic painting on canvas features a sweeping white waterfall that dominates the midground of the canvas as it tumbles downward, accented by a single green bush with small yellow flowers growing directly out of the center of the rushing water. The top of the scene is marked by a dense line of green trees and tropical foliage along the ridge where the descent begins, all framed at the very top edge by a straight grey and yellow architectural overhang or bridge structure. Completing the composition, the foreground opens into a wide expanse of dark, rippling water that fills the lower section to receive the massive flow from the falls above.
