Life Along the Bank

Acrylic on Canvas · Eugenie Erskine

This painting juxtaposes a dynamic, white capped river with a peaceful, highly detailed hillside settlement. Populated by miniature figures strolling through lush trails, a cluster of dwellings, and a hidden cottage nestled deep within a dense canopy of trees, the artwork invites the viewer into a whimsical, harmonious world of coastal village life.
